Dunder Mifflin

One of my newest addictions is watching cooking shows. I don't know why - it could be my intense love of food (and by food, I mean eating). So the other night I was flipping through the channels and came across a show where a lady was making some Chinese dish. All of a sudden my mom says, "Did she say Swiss Ass?"

Needless to say, I just stared at her. First of all, my mom never says bad words. Secondly, we're talking about food. Who needs "Swiss Ass" in their food?

Turns out the lady said "soy sauce" and my mom misinterpreted it. Very badly!!

We laughed a lot and then in her mom-ish way she said, "Well, I guess my ears just aren't working right!" I think, "yes."

Tonight we're going to have a big family cook-out. It will be a good time. I'm glad I spent my night last night cleaning the grill and back patio. It's going to be nice weather and good times.

In other news, I got April kicked off of someone's facebook friends list. I feel bad, but the truth is the guy was a douche. Seriously.

Still counting the weeks until Hawaii: 27 to go!!
