Oh, Kristen! How you amuse me!! *giggles*

Anyway, I'm going on a blind date on Saturday. Yeah. So not excited. I hate dates.

Last Friday, Sherry (who works in the other office) called me and said that her nephew (her husband's sister's son) was over to her house a couple of weeks ago and as they were talking, she thought that he and I would go well together. So, she then talked about it to everyone (except Jeremy) in the other office, and Tammy (who also works over there) said that her and her husband, Jason, had already that same conversation. This guy, Brad, and Tammy's husband, Jason, are really good friends.

So, Sherry emailed Brad and told him that she had this idea and wanted to know if he'd be interested in a blind date. He emailed her back and said that'd be fine, as long as I knew about it. So, she gave him my phone number.

Then, on Sunday (unbeknownst to me) Brad called Tammy and Jason to find out about me before he called me. Tammy said that he had left them a message because they were gone all day, but he had apparently tried to call them about 6 times.....I don't know if that's a compliment or if I should be scared. Anyway...

He called me on Monday night, but I had my cell phone off and didn't get the message until Tuesday, so I called him back and he called me on Wednesday night. We are actually going to be going on a big old group date because Kris is quitting (her last day was yesterday) so we're having a going away party for her on Saturday. So, Brad pretty much invited himself along (which I thought was bold, but Tammy had already told him it was o.k., but I didn't know that at the time. Whatever.)

So, It should be interesting. After he offered to pick me up, we started talking about something else and I said, "Well, don't you want to know where I live?" To which he replied, "I already know where you live." (He said this before I talked to Tammy and knew all of what she'd told him....which obviously was everything down to where I live.)

I'm not excited, but Sherry, Tammy and Tara (who also works in the other office and graduated with him from H.S.) say that they can see us together. I don't know if that's pressure or reassuring. I guess we'll see!!

Now I have to go buy a nice outfit or something. Dang it!
