What a Wonderful World!
I think I've found my soulmate! *sigh* Brad loves ketchup on everything, except eggs, and I find that this makes me think we were meant to be together. I love ketchup. On everything. Except eggs.
Anyway, I had the most glorious weekend! I am so sad that it had to end. My dad had bought 4 four-wheelers over Easter weekend, and this past weekend, we took them out because Kayla was over. Nathaniel, Missy, Justin, Kayla and I hung out pretty much the whole weekend and it was so fun. I thought that I wouldn't like the four-wheelers, but I had a really good time. Kayla is now and expert on them and Justin has taught her bad habits. We also played baseball (which really means I pitch and Kayla hits while Missy outfields) which was fun, until Nathaniel decided he wanted to hit, so he got our ball stuck in the tree. It's still there. Poopstain!
And as for my date, a 180° better date than the first time. He shaved, got a haircut and even had his sister go with him shopping to get some new clothes. He looked really good, and is really kind of cute (And, Jolene, I studied his hands and he doesn't have liver spots on them...just some freckles. I can deal with that!) And he's not as short as I remember, so I think the midget dreams were unfounded.
He picked me up at 6pm and we went to Madison. We had to stop at his brother's place to drop off some stuff. When we got there, he asked if I wanted to come in or stay in the truck. I said I'd stay, but then he said his brother was dying to meet me. This intrigues me because I want to know why. Has Brad been talking a lot about me to him that he wants to meet me? So curious. However, we woke his brother up from a nap. His brother is about as tall as Brad is, but he's really athletic looking - not buff, but thinner. And he's kind of hot. I've been told by everyone who know both of these guys that my sense of humor is the same as Scott's, but I didn't really see that because I think both of them were being on their best behavior. I did, however, get some funny stories about Brad out of the whole thing, so it was worth going in. We stayed for about a 1/2 hour.
Then we went to dinner, and he paid for it. We had great conversation and laughed a lot. Then we went to a movie. We saw The Sentinel with Eva Longoria, who only had like 5 lines, but they just needed her for her boobies. I wish I could just be needed for my boobies. It was a good movie. I wanted him to hold my hand or something, but he didn't. He's shy, so I can understand that.
We talked all the way home and then he dropped me off, no kiss, but that's o.k. becuase the first kiss always sucks. Always (except for my very first kiss ever, which is good because if my first kiss ever was bad, I'd just hate to kiss). So, he's going to call me sometime this week and we will probably go out next weekend.
Now. Here's the deal. Now that I kind of like him and am looking forward to getting to know him and hang out with him, he'll probably decided he doesn't like me. It will work that way. I'm betting on it, so if you'd like to put some money on it, I'm up for that action! *sigh* Can't things just be easy? It would be nice if he could just be The One and I could be done with all this dating crap.
And in other unrelated events. The other night I had a dream about Jeremy closing on his house, and he showed up with his girlfriend named Chloe. Now, she wasn't fat, but I'm assuming she was supposed to be with that name - since we all remember me being introduced to Kristen's cat!!!
